Gualtiero Sacchi is founder of GUALTIERO SACCHI DESIGN, a design studio in Reggio Emilia specialising in retail and interiors in Italy and abroad.
In 1998, after graduating in Industrial Design from the University of Design, he worked in prestigious design studios, dealing with product and interior design. In 2000 he founded the 'Mastro Design' design team with Filippo Franceschini, with which he was selected to participate in the 'Salone Satellite', in 2001, 2002 and 2003, receiving the 'Design Report Award' and the 'Young & Design' in 2001. In 2002, he was invited to participate in the 'Saint-Etienne Design Biennial', in the 'Italian Design World' exhibition in Tokyo, at 'Lighting Design' in Turin and in the 'Tipi Italiani' exhibition organised by Design Italia.
In 2004 he exhibited with Paolo Chiantini at 'Tokyo Design Week', and in 2005 he was invited by 'Red Bull' to design an emotional object for the F1 drivers of the 'Red Bull Racing Team'. Since 2007, he has opened his own interior design and product design studio, working with companies such as Bosa Ceramiche, Viabizzuno, Suzuki, Bertazzoni, Rex, Ligne Roset, Casamood by FLORIM, Mariella Burani, Canali and Salvatore Ferragamo.
Since 2008 he has been in charge of the Max Mara Visual Merchandising Factory, for which he designs stores, Pop-Ups and window displays all over the world, for Max Mara, Sportmax and Max&Co.
