Designing innovation while enhancing tradition is what distinguishes and characterises the vision, attitude and philosophy of architect Mariapia Bettiol.
An enterprising path, full of strong passions, curiosity and interest that began with a degree in Architecture from the Milan Polytechnic, an experience at the CEU (Universidad di Cardenal Herrera) in Valencia, international workshops, and a family history in architectural design in the hospitality sector. Since 2017, architect Mariapia Bettiol has taken over the architectural practice founded by her father in Aosta and created Bettiol Architecture, a young talent studio with a distinctly international clientele. The studio specialises in architectural services, consultancy, creative direction and technical direction for luxury projects involving hospitality buildings, exclusive villas and chalets. From the idea to the search for materials, right through to realisation, the studio deals with both the more technical and operational phases, as well as the more creative phases in terms of research and choice of the best solutions. Interior decoration and interior design are carried out in collaboration with other professionals and general contractors in a team effort.
The studio's activity is mainly focused in the main resorts of the Alpine Arc and in the Cervinia area for the realisation of four and five-star accommodation facilities, villas and refined mountain chalets. The projects realised are aimed at an international clientele, coming from the northern European market, who find in architect Mariapia Bettiol the ideal interlocutor for her solid experience in the field, competence and knowledge of design locations, creative vision and international attitude. Experience abroad has in fact played a fundamental role in the architect's training, allowing her to have cross-cultural and poly-cultural influences that are reflected in her studio's projects.
The work carried out ranges from renovations of buildings to properties developed from scratch. The identity of the place and the location of the facilities is a priority aspect and runs through all the work. Each project is studied and taken care of down to the smallest detail in relation to the place where it is located in order to make the mountain experience come alive in all seasons. The love for wood and the familiarity with designing with this material come from the roots of an architect who has made the Valley and its Genius Loci a constant cultural and professional reference.
